"A few years ago I decided that it was time for me to get into shape. I was 40, and for years had not exercised, was not careful about what or when I ate, and had the physical appearance to prove it. At 235 pounds, I was easily 65lbs overweight. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Todd Matthews who acted as my trainer for my new exercise regimen. After several months of improved eating habits and regular exercise, I was able to lose a substantial amount of weight and decidedly started to feel better. While pleased with these results, I was still finding it difficult to lose the extra pounds I needed to lose and, of course, keep it off...thats when Todds nutritional expertise came in. Provided I was prepared to stick with the program, he was prepared to design one (i.e. a diet program) that dealt with my specific needs, which in my case, included accommodations for a psoriasis condition. I have been on many diets in my adult life, but none were as well-rounded, and quite frankly, easy to adjust to than the one Todd provided. Hello, My mom gave me a copy of your book and I have been on the plan for about 5 days now. I have lost 5lbs. and feel fantastic.
I have competed in figure competions and qualified to compete nationally and was desperate to find an eating plan to follow during my off season and this was the best thing I have ever been introduced to. I am used to eating a strict diet and when the competition is over your mind takes over and makes you believe that you need to eat anything and everything.
